For this campaign we fully immersed ourselves in the possibilities of generative AI. Where creative production used to require weeks of preparation and execution, we can now bring entire worlds to life in seconds with tools like Sora, Kling and Runway. From short ads to key art: with well-timed prompts, images emerge that instantly evoke emotion and tell a story.
AI has become our new canvas – scalable, fast and full of surprises. Yet it's never just about the technology. A strong story asks for the right balance between innovative tools and human presence. Because real impact only happens when AI comes together with people who bring something recognisable, cultural and emotional to it.
It's about the energy of a person, the cultural codes they represent, the recognition a viewer feels. Only then do stories get loaded with meaning.
The older generation as a symbol of renewal
In PIONEER NOW we deliberately chose to put the older generation centre stage. But instead of placing them in the familiar or predictable, we set them in a surprising, fresh context. We show them doing things normally associated with younger people – in style, behaviour and attitude. With that, we position the older audience as a symbol for brands that have stood still for too long. By literally setting them in motion, we give shape to the feeling of renewal. The result is a story that weaves humour, contrast and relevance together.
Generative AI makes it possible to visualise those scenes powerfully and vividly. What once seemed impossible or out of reach, we can now create at speed and scale. But what really brings this campaign to life is the tension between reality and fantasy. We work with real ones in an unreal setting: real people, real energy, but placed in a world that's magnified and warped by AI. That contrast is exactly what makes it credible and captivating.
